The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment (MoICE) warmly welcomes Dasho Kinzang Dorji as the new Secretary of the Ministry, following the conferment of Dhar by His Majesty The King.

Dasho Kinzang Dorji brings extensive experience in public service, national policy and international engagement, most recently serving as Bhutan’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand.

MoICE has a broad and diverse mandate spanning industry, trade and investment, private sector development, tourism, employment and entrepreneurship, labour, media, creative industries, intellectual property, corporate governance, quality standards, consumer protection and market competition. As the Ministry advances these interconnected mandates in support of Bhutan’s economic transformation, Dasho’s experience in national policy and international engagement will further strengthen the Ministry’s work and contribute to the effective delivery of its priorities.

The Ministry extends its warmest Tashi Delek to Dasho Kinzang Dorji, welcomes him to the MoICE family, and wishes him every success in his new responsibility and continued service to the Tsa-Wa-Sum.
