20 July 2026: On this auspicious day, the Ministry held its July 2026 Promotion Ceremony to recognize and celebrate officials who have earned promotions through their dedication, professionalism, and exemplary service to the Tsa Wa Sum.

Among the promotion recipients, three officials received promotions to the Executive and Specialist categories.

In addition, with effect from 1 July 2026, under the Broad Banded Position Promotion, six officials were promoted in the Professional and Management Category and nine officials in the Supervisory and Support Category.

Conferring the promotions, Hon’ble Lyonpo reminded the recipients that the presentation of His Majesty The King’s Royal Portrait, symbolizing the Diamond Strategy, carries a profound message. While every promotion recognizes dedication and past achievements, it also marks the beginning of greater responsibility and renewed commitment to nation building.

Lyonpo emphasized that, at a time when the civil service is navigating significant talent retention challenges, those who continue to serve embody professionalism, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to the Tsa Wa Sum. He encouraged the officials to lead with integrity, inspire others through their service, and contribute meaningfully towards realizing His Majesty’s transformative national vision.
