The Department of Industry under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment would like to inform that we have come across some business license where the validity of the license are found to be more than one year. Except for Cottage scale Registration and Micro Trade Registration Certificates, for which validity is three years, all other license need to renew annually as per the Rules.

In this regard, the Department would like to request all the business license holders to kindly check the validity of your license. In the event the validity of the business license is found to be more than a year, you are requested to immediately report to your respective Regional Office of Industry, Commerce and Employment for necessary correction. The Department highly regrets the inconveniences caused due to some system errors on certain occasions.
