The Department of Occupational Standards (DOS), MoLHR would like to inform that the certification of Professional Driver (PD) NC2 shall be allowed through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessment as an option for those who wish to appear for the assessment directly without having to undergo PD Course in the Driving Training
Institutes. The Department, in-consultation with the RSTA, shall prepare an annual RPL Assessment plan and make an announcement accordingly. The registration of candidates shall start only after the announcement. This notification is issued with reference to the approval of RPL Assessment for Professional Drivers by the Ministry in its 31st Policy and Plan Coordination Meeting held on 30 May 2022.
