This is to notify and inform the general public that the SHORT-TERM WORK PERMIT (E-Work Permit) is now being initiated by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment. The employers wishing to import foreign workers even for the duration less than 30 days should now compulsorily apply online through BLMIS with immediate effect. Besides the normal required documents, the individual/FWRA/employers should submit the medical clearance certificate of the foreigners obtained from the country of origin.This notification is referred to the approval of the night halt work permits only and for other categories and updates, MoICE will keep notifying in future.

Skilling Program under Build Bhutan Project (BBP)

1. A cohort from 9th batch of  Skilling Program under Build Bhutan Project (BBP) has successfully completed the Domestic House Wiring course of NC2 level from TTI Khuruthang on 22nd of June 2022. Total of 29 ( 23 Male & 6 Female ) trainees have graduated. 
 
2. TTI Chumey implemented Phase IIl plan of Village Skills Development Program (VSDP) on 20th June 2022 under Build Bhutan Project (BBP) in Trashigang, Total 48 (11 Male & 37 Female) trainees enrolled:
i. Construction Carpentry training at Phongmay.
Total 13

( 11 Male & 2 Female ) trainees enrolled;
ii. Construction Carpentry training at Udzorong.
Total 24

( 16 Male & 8 Female ) trainees enrolled;
iii. Construction Carpentry training at Khaling.
Total 11

( 10 Male & 1 Female ) trainees enrolled;
