Apply Foreign Worker

This is to notify and inform the general public that the SHORT-TERM WORK PERMIT (E-Work Permit) is now being initiated by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment. The employers wishing to import foreign workers even for the duration less than 30 days should now compulsorily apply online through BLMIS with immediate effect. Besides the normal required documents, the individual/FWRA/employers should submit the medical clearance certificate of the foreigners obtained from the country of origin.This notification is referred to the approval of the night halt work permits only and for other categories and updates, MoICE will keep notifying in future.

Overseas Vacancy in M.H Alshaya, Middle East

The Overseas Employment Unit, Department of Employment and Entrepreneurship would like to announce vacancies for Sales Associates. Selected candidates will be placed for work in M.H Alshaya Company in Middle East Countries depending upon the requirements of the company in Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain. There are total slots for 100 Candidates only.

General Eligibility Criteria
1. Should attain a minimum of 21 years on the last date of vacancy announcement and maximum of 29 years of age.
2. Should be a registered jobseeker with the Ministry of Labour and Human Resource and should be currently unemployed.
3. Should be medically fit.
4. Should have a minimum qualification of Bachelor’s Degree.

Brief summary of terms and conditions:
1. Gross Salary: 3750 QAR
2. Incentive Potential: 25% of Basic salary
3. Air ticket Allowance: Biennial, Self only (apportioned on a base period of 24 months)
4. 21 calendar days paid annual leave
5. Notice period: 1 Month

 Screening Process
Those candidates who fulfill the above criteria will be all shortlisted to attend the confidence and interview sessions directly with the company virtually. Interested and genuine job-seekers who are currently unemployed and fulfilling the above criteria may apply and get registered online at https://mis.molhr.gov.bt/jobseeker under Oversea Vacancies on or before 17th June, 2022 before 12:00 PM. The shortlisted results will be declared on the Ministry’s website.

All selected candidates have to report to the Overseas Employment Unit before signing an offer letter for Documents Verification, confirmation and briefing.
