The Department of Employment and Entrepreneurship (DoEE) under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment (MoICE) successfully concluded the Basic Entrepreneurship Course (BEC) for Gyalsuups, conducted from 18 December to 31 December, in collaboration with the Gyalsung Headquarters, at Gedu College of Business Studies.

The programme was attended by 𝟏𝟗 𝐆𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐮𝐮𝐩𝐬, comprising 10 female and 9 male participants, and was designed to enhance entrepreneurial awareness, strengthen practical business skills, and build confidence to explore self-employment and enterprise development opportunities. Participants took part in interactive sessions covering key entrepreneurship areas such as idea generation, basic business planning, financial literacy, and market understanding, supported by practical exercises and group activities.
The programme represents another important step in the Department’s continued efforts to empower youth with relevant skills for sustainable livelihood creation and meaningful economic participation, while further strengthening institutional collaboration in advancing youth entrepreneurship.
The closing ceremony was graced by Colonel Sonam Dorji, Head of the National Service Duty Department, and Mr. Dalston Pung, President of Gedu College of Business Studies.”
