Subject: Temporary Closure of Nobding Fuel Retail Outlet (FRO) due to Earthquake Damage.
This is for the information of the general public that the earthquake on 14th September 2025 has caused structural damage to the Fuel Retail Outlet (FRO) at Nobding.
An assessment by the relevant authorities has confirmed damage to critical infrastructure, including electrical systems and storage facilities. To ensure public safety and prevent any potential hazards, the outlet has been temporarily closed with immediate effect.
The STCBL is overseeing the restoration efforts in coordination with relevant agencies. While work is underway, the challenging site conditions, including persistent landslides, have extended the expected repair timeline.
The Department advises the public to note the following:
- Avoid the vicinityof the Nobding FRO for safety reasons until further notice.
- Do not attemptto procure fuel from this outlet until an official reopening is declared.
- Utilize other operational fuel stations in the region for your needs.
The Department and STCBL regret the inconvenience caused and are committed to restoring essential services at the earliest.
