All employers are required to register their Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Committees (for enterprises with 20 employees or more) through the Bhutan Labour Market Information System (BLIMS). Likewise, certified Safety Professionals (Construction Safety Supervisor, General Safety Supervisor, and Safety Officer) must also register via BLIMS.
This is in line with Sections 30 & 41 of the Regulation on Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare, 2022 to ensure compliance and strengthen workplace safety.
