Department of Trade Hosts Productive Meeting with IOCL Delegation on Fuel Supply and Quality Assurance on 7thMarch 20215 at Phuentsholing, Bhutan
The Department of Trade, led by Chief Trade Officer Ms. Lhazom, hosted a bilateral meeting with the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), headed by Mr. Asokan, to address critical issues related to fuel supply, quality, and retail infrastructure. Several important agenda items were discussed, focusing on the timely improvement of fuel distribution systems in Bhutan, including the replacement of outdated Z-pumps with New Multip Product Dispensers (MPDs;) Fuel Quality and Adulteration prevention; clear breakdowns of invoice and LFRs’ Timely Deliveries; upgradation of Retail outlets’ infrastructure and signing of B2B MoUs.
