This is to notify and inform the general public that the SHORT-TERM WORK PERMIT (E-Work Permit) is now being initiated by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment. The employers wishing to import foreign workers even for the duration less than 30 days should now compulsorily apply online through BLMIS with immediate effect. Besides the normal required documents, the individual/FWRA/employers should submit the medical clearance certificate of the foreigners obtained from the country of origin.This notification is referred to the approval of the night halt work permits only and for other categories and updates, MoICE will keep notifying in future.

Application call for Incubation space at the Startup Center, Dhamdum, Samtse

 

The Department of Employment and Entrepreneurship, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment would like to announce the availability of Incubation Space at the start-up Centre, Dhamdum, Samtse. Any interested Entrepreneurs/start-ups in Manufacturing, Production and IT and IT enabled sectors who are passionate about their ideas and committed to scaleup are invited to apply. The space has been specifically designed to support early-stage start-ups and provide them with a nurturing environment that fosters growth and development.

 

The Centre provides:

  • Affordable incubation space
  • Business Development Services through mentorship, trainings and business health checkups
  • Product launching events for startups.

The last date for application call is 16th September, 𝟐𝟎𝟐4.

 

Note: The shortlisted candidates will undergo selection process

 

The duly filed application form along relevant supporting documents can be emailed to tphuntsho@moice.gov.bt/or submitted in hardcopy to the start-up Centre Office on or before 16th September 2024 during office hours.
