The Department of Labour and Regional Labour Staff will be conducting workplace inspections from May 1 to June 11, 2023. While the labour inspections will cover various sectors, the focus of our inspections will be the construction sector, specifically the construction of private houses. The inspection will assess compliance  to Working Conditions, OHS and Foreign Worker Regulations. All employers and workers are requested to cooperate and support our labour officers and inspectors carry out their duties.
