Department of Labour-This is to notify and inform the general public that the SHORT-TERM WORK PERMIT (E-Work Permit) is now being initiated by the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources. The employers wishing to import foreign workers even for the duration less than 30 days should now compulsorily apply online through MoLHR-MIS with immediate effect. Besides the normal required documents, the individual/FWRA/employers should submit the medical clearance certificate of the foreigners obtained from the country of origin.This notification is referred to the approval of the night halt work permits only and for other categories and updates, MoLHR will keep notifying in future.

The Department of Occupational Standards is pleased to announce the results of the National Assessment conducted for Cultural Tour Guide NC2 Star Tourism Institute, Thimphu on 17th – 18th September, 2022.

The candidates are requested to note that any appeal on the Assessment result, if any, should be forwarded to this Department on or before 21st  September, 2022.

The Department also requests candidates to check NAME SPELLINGS and CID. If there are inaccuracies, please submit the CID COPY through email at: tshewang@molhr.gov.bt on or before 21st September, 2022. If the Department does not receive any rectification applications, details provided will be treated as correct and proceed to print certificates. Trainees may contact the institute for Certificates.
