As a part of Skills Development Program under the Ministry, eight applicants were trained in 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 in TTI-Chumey, Bumthang from 25-April-22 to 24-Jul-22, for three months. Further, the participants underwent Basic Entrepreneurship Course for another two weeks to build entrepreneurial competencies.

With the personal initiative by Ms. Venus Pugdeekong, Master Trainer, the following three companies in Thailand offered On-The-Job-Training (OJT) to the participants for the duration of two months:1. Moss Studio Co. Ltd. Bangkok, Thailand;
2. 1819 Company Ltd; Bangkok, Thailand; and
3. Amsuwan Company Ltd; Bangkok, Thailand

These companies are Landscape, Architecture and Urban design firm based in Bangkok, Thailand and have proposed to provide following benefits to the Bhutanese participants during their OJT:
1. The common apartment for the trainees;
2. Monthly allowance of Thai Bhat TBH 5,000/- by Moss Studio and 1819 Company;
3. Daily allowance of Thai Bhat THB 200/- and free lunch on working days by Omsuwan Company Ltd; and
4. Certificate upon successful completion of two months OJT
Upon completion of the OJT, the participants will return with diverse knowledge and experience that will help to earn their livelihood. The round-trip and VISA expenses will be borne by STEP-UP Project, ADB under the Ministry.
