This is to notify and inform the general public that the SHORT-TERM WORK PERMIT (E-Work Permit) is now being initiated by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment. The employers wishing to import foreign workers even for the duration less than 30 days should now compulsorily apply online through BLMIS with immediate effect. Besides the normal required documents, the individual/FWRA/employers should submit the medical clearance certificate of the foreigners obtained from the country of origin.This notification is referred to the approval of the night halt work permits only and for other categories and updates, MoICE will keep notifying in future.

RESULT FOR THE NEHRU-WANGCHUCK SCHOLARSHIP 2022 INTAKE

The Training and Development Division (TDD), Department of National HR Development (DNHRD), Ministry of Labour and Human Resources (MoLHR) is pleased to announce the selection interview result of Nehru-Wangchuck Scholarship (Non-Civil Service Sector) 2022 intake held virtually on 15th April 2022:

Selected candidates are requested to take note of the following:

  1. The selected candidates will have to secure admission in one of the renowned universities in India by 31st August 2022 failing which the Scholarship shall be offered to the standby candidate (as per the Scholarship Announcement). Therefore, kindly submit the Confirmation of Enrollment (CoE) you receive from the Universities/Institutes.
  2. The selected candidates are requested to kindly submit the drug test report after getting a Confirmation of Enrollment from the Universities/Institutes. If the selected candidate fails the drug test, the scholarship shall be awarded to the standby candidates who will also need to undergo the drug test accordingly.
  3. Kindly submit the following documents to TDD, DNHRD (in person) or through email @ unamgyel@molhr.gov.bt latest by 22nd April 2022.
    1. Medical Screening certificate for long term study;
    2. Undertaking Forms (will be sent through email);
