Apply Foreign Worker

This is to notify and inform the general public that the SHORT-TERM WORK PERMIT (E-Work Permit) is now being initiated by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment. The employers wishing to import foreign workers even for the duration less than 30 days should now compulsorily apply online through BLMIS with immediate effect. Besides the normal required documents, the individual/FWRA/employers should submit the medical clearance certificate of the foreigners obtained from the country of origin.This notification is referred to the approval of the night halt work permits only and for other categories and updates, MoICE will keep notifying in future.

Doosung Construction Co., LTD, South Korea contributed 3D Printing equipment and accessories

The Doosung Construction Co. LTD, Republic of Korea has sponsored four sets of KINGROON 3D Printing equipment and accessories to the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources. His Excellency Karma Dorji, Minister, MoLHR graced the handing/taking of the equipment between Prof. Choi Su-Eui, Master Trainer on behalf of Doosung Construction Co. Ltd and the Department of Technical Education, MoLHR. This sponsorship is an initiative of Prof. Choi Su-Eui with his parent company.

The equipment will be used as training equipment for delivery of 3D Printing Art courses as part of the Skills Development Program (SDP) and TVET Reform Plan in one of the in Technical Training Institute.

The Ministry has also recruited Dr. Honghyun Moon and Mrs. Yun Ja Kim from Republic of Korea who will be engaged in designing and delivering of Mechanical & Production Engineering and development of framework for Skills Competition and Korea Culinary Art program respectively. The Master Trainers formally joined the Ministry on March 21, 2022.
