This is to notify and inform the general public that the SHORT-TERM WORK PERMIT (E-Work Permit) is now being initiated by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment. The employers wishing to import foreign workers even for the duration less than 30 days should now compulsorily apply online through BLMIS with immediate effect. Besides the normal required documents, the individual/FWRA/employers should submit the medical clearance certificate of the foreigners obtained from the country of origin.This notification is referred to the approval of the night halt work permits only and for other categories and updates, MoICE will keep notifying in future.

Result of the RPL Assessment for the Cultural Tour Guide NC2

The Department of Occupational Standards is pleased to announce the result of the RPL Assessment conducted for the Cultural Tour Guide NC2 from 13th – 16th May, 2022 at Thimphu.

All the trainees are requested to note that any appeal on the National Assessment result, if any, should be forwarded to this Department on or before 20th May, 2022.

The Department also requests trainees to check NAME SPELLINGS and CID Number. If there are inaccuracies, please submit the CID COPY through email at: tshewang@molhr.gov.bton or before 20th May, 2022. If the Department does not receive any rectification applications, details provided will be treated as correct and proceed to print certificates. The trainees may contact the institute for the certificates.
