Apply Foreign Worker

This is to notify and inform the general public that the SHORT-TERM WORK PERMIT (E-Work Permit) is now being initiated by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment. The employers wishing to import foreign workers even for the duration less than 30 days should now compulsorily apply online through BLMIS with immediate effect. Besides the normal required documents, the individual/FWRA/employers should submit the medical clearance certificate of the foreigners obtained from the country of origin.This notification is referred to the approval of the night halt work permits only and for other categories and updates, MoICE will keep notifying in future.

Extension of Application Deadline for Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality Management in Austria till March 30th, 2022

Brief Description

Training and Development Division (TDD), Department of National Human Resource Development (DNHRD), under the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources (MoLHR) is pleased to announce the availability of Austrian Scholarship for the year 2022-2023 in the following areas:

  1. Diploma in Tourism Management
  2. Diploma in Hospitality Management

Host Institute: ITH, Klessheim

Scholarship Value/Inclusions: Full Scholarship

Eligibility:

Minimum of 1-year experience in Hospitality or Tourism industry (Including probation) of continuous and satisfactory service with the nominating agency at the time of submitting the application.

Age limit: 35 years

Completed at least class XII or equivalent.

Application Instructions:

Eligible candidates from the Tourism and Hospitality sector may submit your application to the TDD, DNHRD, MoLHR on or before 30th of March or email it to tgyeltshen@molhr.gov.bt with:

  1. Duly filled Scholarship Application form (Download) along with following documents:
    1. Copies of academic transcripts and certificates
    2. Other certificates (vocational training, etc.)
    3. Curriculum vitae or Resume
    4. Recommendation letter (from your present work)
    5. Birth certificate
    6. Copy of your passport
    7. English Proficiency Certificate
    8. Letter of Motivation covering the following topics: (1-2 pages)
      1. Why are you applying for this course and what are your expectations?
      2. Why have you chosen Tourism or Hospital Management and Teacher Training or Entrepreneurship?
      3. What are your professional plans after your return and how are you going to use the knowledge gained at ITH?
  2. Duly filled in-service HRD form (Download) along with following documents;
    1. Citizenship ID copy
    2. Valid security clearance
    3. Appointment letter
    4. Financial Clearance from the nominating agency; and
    5. Pay slip of past one year
