Apply Foreign Worker

This is to notify and inform the general public that the SHORT-TERM WORK PERMIT (E-Work Permit) is now being initiated by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment. The employers wishing to import foreign workers even for the duration less than 30 days should now compulsorily apply online through BLMIS with immediate effect. Besides the normal required documents, the individual/FWRA/employers should submit the medical clearance certificate of the foreigners obtained from the country of origin.This notification is referred to the approval of the night halt work permits only and for other categories and updates, MoICE will keep notifying in future.

Notification on services of the Foreign Workers, DoL

This is to inform the concerned public and Foreign Workers Recruitment Agents (FWRAs) , who seek services of the Foreign Workers Division to send an email to Immigration Officials  at kwangmo@mohca.gov.bt   with the attached folder containing only the copies of Voter Cards /Passports. Please follow the steps below:
1. Please provide the application ID no. on the email subject

2.Name each folder with the application ID number

3. If you are sending each voter card/passport as a separate attachment, name each voter/passport with the FW’s voter/passport number for easier identification.

This notification is issued to accelerate the verification processes performed by the Department of Immigration. The department requests the concerned public and FWRAs to take this notification seriously, failure to which, Foreign Workers applied can get rejected.
