This is to notify and inform the general public that the SHORT-TERM WORK PERMIT (E-Work Permit) is now being initiated by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment. The employers wishing to import foreign workers even for the duration less than 30 days should now compulsorily apply online through BLMIS with immediate effect. Besides the normal required documents, the individual/FWRA/employers should submit the medical clearance certificate of the foreigners obtained from the country of origin.This notification is referred to the approval of the night halt work permits only and for other categories and updates, MoICE will keep notifying in future.

Short-term training for In-service candidates (CCD-Program)

The Training and Development Division, Department of National HR Development (DNHRD), Ministry of Labour and Human Resources (MoLHR) is pleased to re-announce availability of short-term training under Critical Capability Development (CCD) program for private sector employees of Paro, Thimphu and nearby Dzongkhags as detailed below:

Training Support

MoLHR will bear the all the expenses of training including the training fees, training material costs and the costs of working lunch for specific training duration. However, the participants will have to manage their own accommodation and other expenses.

Eligibility Criteria:

Should have a minimum of one-year relevant work experience with the current agency

Documents required:

  1. Duly filled In-service HRD form
  2. CID copy
  3. Appointment Letter to your current job
  4. Business License copy (if self-employed)
  5. Copy of the Marksheet and Certificates of highest qualification
  6. Copy of training certificate/s in Bakery or related field/s (if any)
