The Ministry of Labor and Human Resources is pleased to announce the training on Wooden Furniture Design and Making at Technical Training Institute, Chumey (TTIC), Bumthang funded by MoLHR under the Skills Development Program as detailed below:

The course is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to become competent in Wooden Furniture Design and Making.
The course shall cover; Maintaining career professionalism and safety, Perform manual wood work where learners will impart with knowledge and skills on how to maintain hand tools and portable power tools, carry out basic wood works and perform wood joints and basic machine woodworks.
In addition, after the completion of the course, all individuals are required to attend Basic Entrepreneurship Course which will be conducted for 2 weeks.
The selection shall be on FIRST-COME-FIRST application based. The selected candidates shall be notified with 2 working days from the last date of application.
Logistics and stipend of Nu. 3500 per month will be provided for the entire duration of the course.
