Apply Foreign Worker

This is to notify and inform the general public that the SHORT-TERM WORK PERMIT (E-Work Permit) is now being initiated by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment. The employers wishing to import foreign workers even for the duration less than 30 days should now compulsorily apply online through BLMIS with immediate effect. Besides the normal required documents, the individual/FWRA/employers should submit the medical clearance certificate of the foreigners obtained from the country of origin.This notification is referred to the approval of the night halt work permits only and for other categories and updates, MoICE will keep notifying in future.

Basic Entrepreneurship Course (BEC) training announcement

The Entrepreneurship and Promotion Division, DoEE, MoLHR in collaboration with Thimphu TechPark and Mongar Dzongkhag is going to conduct a Basic Entrepreneurship Course (BEC) from 10th January – 26th January, 2022 at Mongar Dzongkhag. Therefore, all the interested applicants with minimum qualification of Class X are requested to register through the link: https://bit.ly/3JHlGfB latest by 6:00PM, 5th January, 2022. Preference shall be given to first come first basis (as per COVID-19 protocols, only 25 participants are allowed) and for those who are genuinely interested to pursue entrepreneurship as a preferred career choice.
