Apply Foreign Worker

This is to notify and inform the general public that the SHORT-TERM WORK PERMIT (E-Work Permit) is now being initiated by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment. The employers wishing to import foreign workers even for the duration less than 30 days should now compulsorily apply online through BLMIS with immediate effect. Besides the normal required documents, the individual/FWRA/employers should submit the medical clearance certificate of the foreigners obtained from the country of origin.This notification is referred to the approval of the night halt work permits only and for other categories and updates, MoICE will keep notifying in future.

National Assessment Results for NC-2 Masonry, Plumbing and Construction Carpentry

The Department of Occupational Standards is pleased to announce the following results for national assessments conducted through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) System conducted at Babesa, Thimphu, from 23 to 27 December 2021.

All trainees are notified that any appeal on assessment results and correction of biodata (including spelling of names and CID number) must be forwarded to the department via email to bpdahal@molhr.gov.bt along with a copy of the CID card,within or before 31st December 2021 before 5 PM. Any appeals made after the above date shall not be accepted.
