This is to notify and inform the general public that the SHORT-TERM WORK PERMIT (E-Work Permit) is now being initiated by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment. The employers wishing to import foreign workers even for the duration less than 30 days should now compulsorily apply online through BLMIS with immediate effect. Besides the normal required documents, the individual/FWRA/employers should submit the medical clearance certificate of the foreigners obtained from the country of origin.This notification is referred to the approval of the night halt work permits only and for other categories and updates, MoICE will keep notifying in future.

IT and Networking:

This short term course unit covers the competencies required for computer hardware to assemble, maintain, identify, troubleshoot and locate fault in computers. It is also focused on troubleshooting Hardware in addition to Software problems. The networking unit covers installation and configuration of network devices.

Wooden Furniture Design and Making:

This course is designed to provide knowledge and skills in making wooden furnture.

Motor Rewinding:

This short-term training covers the competencies required to maintain, rewind, test, identify, locate fault in single phase winding of induction motors. Upon successful completion of this training, the participants will be able to rewind, install, test, service and repair three phase induction motors.

Repair Home Appliances:

This short course is designed to provide knowledge, skills and attitudes required to become competent in repairing home appliance and the fundamental principles.
